Like everyone else said, your funny! What else can I say? White chocolate is gross. Quirky people help the rest of us relax... or at least realize we could be worse off :)

I can't remember names. I can't remember faces. I can't remeber what the conversation was about. Half the time I can't even remeber meeting these nameless people. The only times I can remeber names or faces is when they happen to embarrase themselves in front of me. That's Bob who farted in gym class. That's Sarah who tripped on her shoelace and fell in the mud. That's Rob who laughed so hard milk came out of his nose. And other blushing faces come to mind...

I don't understand the big craze of MySpace. I have no idea how to use Twitter, I'm happy enough with my Google Reader thank you. I tried Facebook and half the faces there just talked about how they just got done talking somewhere else. Maybe I'm anti-social but most people I know, I prefer to talk to them only once a day. :)

As far as #14 goes, I'm tempted to reference Warhol's brilliant quote,
"In the future, eveybody will be famous for 15 minutes,"
and say that in the future everything will make sense for 15 minutes.

Michael, that was brilliant. You should drink alone in hotel rooms more often. Or maybe it was the reuben? As for SoCal: you thought you'd love living in Italy, too. We humans are tremendously bad at predicting what will make us happy.
Oh, and Alistair? Will you buy one of my books & send me on tour in England? Please? Pretty please? Okay, what if I begged?

I LOVE Cryptonomicon. It is one of my top books to advertise to my peers at the moment.

I went on to read the prequel triology called the Baroque Cycle that is set in the 18th Century and starts with Quicksilver. It's excellent as well, but Cryptonomicon is near perfect.

I also read Snowcrash by Stephenson, which is interesting but not as successful in my view.

On not remebering people - I think it's incredibly impolite if someone remebers who your name and how they know you if you don't remember them back. How rude!
